I'm trying to do the carbon fiber mod on my laptops lid, and I want to do this right but I was wondering if anyone knows a place where I can find instructions on taking the lid off and also would this void my warrranty?

I found this somewhere ;) good luck. The fibre won't void your warranty and as long as you don’t break any seals, I think the disassemble wont either.
I would like to see the result if you are going to do it, because I was thinking about doing this also ;).
Are you going to cut out the asus logo? Because that was the main thing that kept me from modding it, I would like to keep the logo visible, but don’t have the time to do this time-consuming operation jet :p
