Yes you can use NB Probe. It does not come with all ASUS notebooks, I found it in the download section for A6 series, but I can use it for my W3J.

Why? I don't know why.... and I don't know whether they are lying or not... :D but just try to download NB Probe from ASUS' download section, choose A6 series. Does not matter too much I guess... just a simple download and installation.

No, it does get a correct reading for other notebooks, at least W3J, in my case. As for the download location.... go to www.asus.com, choose Global. Then click Download. Then fill the fields at the right part of the screen: Notebook, A6000, then select whatever type of A6, say A6R, then click Search. Then click Utilities tab. Scroll down and you will find the gold pot... oh I mean the NB Probe.

Unfortunately there no single program that would give you the temperatures of all things, depends if you are lucky too.

Intel Thermal Analysis Tool - CPU (Core 1 and Core 2) Temps:
    http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/392

Speedfan - Sometimes gets all Sensors/Temps
    http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

Notebook Hardware Control - Great program, awesome interface, some temps
    http://www.pbus-167.com/

Everest Home/Ultimate - They will give you the info of everything on your computer/laptop with very little erros or anything missing. in my opinon it is the BEST, but you have to pay for ultimate.
