hi I saw in the post http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=219507
from ViciousXUSMC and a post from Rangerxml that you can upgrade from the 90W to the 120W for the C90S for free.Ranger if you are out their please I am begging you help me.Does any one know some one specific at asus or any ware else that knows how I can just get asus to understand the C90S power issues and just send it to me.As I have ran into the same issues with dealing with asus directly as NightWalker listed here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=211578
that one ether they dont know any thing about the C90S and say it wont work or don't even know about the 120W at all just like NightWalker said in his post about rma directly from asus.I try to explain the power issues like the battery draining and crashes but no luck.even though I don't play video games much I do some high end video editing and rendering and other video intensive stuff so that also maxis out the system too. That I can confirm as vicious and ranger said that it will drain the battery on a full load or crash with ether no battery or once it gets to 0% power. Also under full load the 90W will not charge the battery at all as its of course draining it.And that I also have the issue that someone here said about how hot the 90W gets.So I need some ideas on how to find some way to make them understand at asus and just give it to me.As I cant do it from my oem I got it from.As I have learned the hard way the he is a lier and a thief at worst or lazy and incompetent at best as he has done a long list of things to rip me off and make shore I cant do any thing about it like he performed a bait and switch on me as I ordered the ram for the C90S off of the list of asus supported ram and gave him the list of ram and said you must get me ones from it and he did not even get me a brand on the list.so I must get the 120W from asus or some one thats not him as even if I can get him to do it he will charge me several hundreds of dollars to exchange any parts.even after I found out about the ram that was not what I ordered he said it will cost me much more money for an exchange.I don't want to rant any more so if you really want to know why I know he riped me off you can ask but be prepared for a very long story. But the short version is he has lied to me the whole time until he had my money and it was too late to get it back and now will only let me exchange hardware for even more money.Any help would be appreciated thanks

Glad to know I'm not the only one who has had these problems with Asus support. On the other hand, I'm sorry you are having to go through the same difficulty I am. I can suggest two things that might resolve your issue.
1. Try e-mailing Asus support through their website and telling them your issue. Be sure to explain it in detail and tell them you NEED a 120W adapter and that you are SUPPOSED to get it for free if you ask for it. I've actually had better luck with their e-mail support then over the phone.
2. If that doesn't work I can PM you the direct number of the RMA department that sent me my 120W adapter and HOPEFULLY you can get a hold of someone from within the RMA department that will know about the ac adapter issue. I'll PM you the number in a few hours since it's 5AM over here and I've got to get the number from my garage outside. -
Thanks if you can get me another number I can try that would be great just in case the web email fails.I just sent an email using the support web form.:smile:sadly it reminded me that that when it comes to real support people the internet is closed on weekends as I like to say.
and that it takes a minimum of 2 monday thru friday business days for email.
So the soonest I can hope for even a response is wednesday.Oh well hope fully if I am very lucky I will get some one better than the guys I have spoke with so far I mean some of those guys really lower the bar on stupid.:rolleyes2:
any way I will let you guys know how it geos thanks again. -
