    i just brought an Asus notebook, and i am wondering how does one register with Asus to ensure that i am in their system?

    which notebook? did you get extended warranty? if ensembles and you did get ext then you have to register. if you did not get ensemble then the warranty is on your dealer. if ensemble and no ext then there is no registration required

    In general, are asus warranties good? In other words is asus support the complete opposite of sonys.
