    i don t see the asus g1s problem

    A lot of ppl said that the g1s cpu speed come down to 1.2 ghz when the battery is at 90% and less...but that doesn t happen in my g1s (see the picture, i have 83% battery and my cpu is at 2.2ghz aprox)

    I don't have the problem either, though I think it's set to that so that the power adapter can deal with the power requirements of when you charge the battery and use the notebook at the same time.

    The problem happens when your battery is less than 90% AND charging..

    Also, some programs (including Vista itself) reports 2.2 Ghz. The way to tell if your program is lying is to use something like 3dmark06 or SuperPI when it is less than 90% AND charging. You may notice that your CPU score takes a major dive from where it is when you are either on battery, not charging, or charging but over 90%.
