I have the iGo Juice70 w/ power the tip (T16, I think...) for the W3v. Does anyone know if I can use the same tip with the W3j, or do I need a new tip? I'm a little hesitant to plug it in just to see if it works...

I'm going to try and hit up iGo as well, but I figured I'd ask here, too.

The W3v and W3j use different power supplies if I recall, ones that are more powerful and larger converters, so I don't think it'll work, but I've never really taken a good look and seen what the iGo really provides(then the basics).

According to iGo's website, the tip is the same for the entire W3 line. I just don't know if they've updated that to include the W3j, because yes, it does have a larger power supply.

Does anyone know if the iGo tips limit the wattage in any way, or are they just for 'size' and polarity? In other words, if the iGo brick itself can put out at least as much power as the laptop requires, and the tip fits, is it OK to use?

And before anyone jumps in with "just get an extra OEM suppy", I would if I could plug it into A/C, my car, or a plane adpater, but AFAIK, they are A/C only.

For what it's worth...the V6j uses tip #16. If you call them they can help guide you. If the rep you get is not helpful, just call back later. I've had mixed results with the customer service reps there.
