Anyone on here succesfully using an ipod shuffle over USB with your w3v? My ipod will only show up as a generic USB volume and not an ipod. I believe the w3v is not sending enough power to its USB ports. I have tried everything on apple's website and cannot get it to work. This is only the latest in a long line of annoyances with this laptop. I'm getting off subject but am very frustrated right now and if anyone could shed some light on this issue or let me know if/how you got your ipod to talk to your w3v please let me know. Thanks.

Did you check ITunes' edit view preferences about setting the Ipod as HD volume? I have to do this so my nano doesn't appear as a external flash drive.

It wont even detect the ipod under the ipod tab of the preferences. It simply says no ipod detected and thus there are no options for it.
