I want to get a laptop with the asus Z80K but Im not sure if I should buy the parts myself and put it together or get this one from ibuypower.com I've read some good and bad reviews about the place and I was wondering what you guys think. Their price is great but Im wondering if there is a reason for that. Thanks

Check out reseller ratings- that place is scary. Don't go there. Try powernotebooks or proportable.

I'm never one for badmouthing anyone.... especially "competition", but I've personally heard two stories from our customers of RMA's that took 4 months or more to resolve and they had no communication along the way...... Having a business and knowing all that can go wrong usually will and ETA's take longer than they're supposed to and everything........ but if there's going to be a problem, yeah 4 months is a heck of a long time to be without a computer you just bought... but if there was some really good explaination, I'm sure the customer could live with it if you were in constant communication....

But what I've heard is enough to make me think that the longest anything ever took us to turnaround (a couple weeks for a bad motherboard on an old laptop which had to be special ordered from tiawan) ..... was superfast compared to some places....

    Thanks,
    Justin
