    for those of you who dont have a free upgrade from asus or anything like that, or are like me and have a second pc you want 7 on, and are a student, you can get windows 7 for 30 bucks

    i'm gettin the upgrade for my g71 from asus, and i figure i'll throw this 30 dollar one on my g1. for anyone whos a student and doesnt want to drop like 200$ on 7 this is for you.

    so whats the difference between the student edition and lets say, ultimate? i couldnt find anywhere on the site that would let me compare them

    you get home premium from that site, which is what asus is givin for a lot of their upgrades.

    If you check the box that says you need to join a domain, you will get Pro instead of Home Premium, so you can run XP mode.
