    instal an SSD into Asus A555 notebook

    Physical installation is not difficult, but how involved it is varies from one model to another. I can only go off of whatever info I can source online about your model; from what I can see, it looks like you'll need to remove the entire bottom case assembly to access the bay where you can install an SSD.

    Once the drive is physically installed, it's up to you whether you want to move all of your data over/image Windows to your new SSD, or you simply want to start fresh and reinstall Windows.

    Haven't come across any disassembly tutorials. Every laptop is a little different in accessing the port that you install the drive to, but rarely is it very difficult; you just remove the old drive and slide in the new SSD (and, if necessary, secure it using any screws/brackets/sleeves provided). From there, you either clone Windows over to the new drive, or you reinstall it from scratch and then install the drivers.
