    installing a cpu in the z80k

    is this any more difficult that putting a chip into a desktop pc? when putting this in a z80k do i need anything other than the chip? i.e. a special kind of fan or paste?

    If you use the desktop processor, you're going to want a cpu suction cup (some masking tape will work though)..... the desktop cpu is very heavy and the pins are delicate... be prepared to accidentally bend some pins... other than that, what's in the Z8 will handle that cpu.

    No it is not hard to put a desktop CPU in z80k. However, there is absolutelly no reason why you would want to do that. The mobile version s are just as the deskptop ones and the mobile one runs a lot cooler. This would mean less noise and longer battery life.
