Hello, I like many others have purchased a g51jx-x2 and the lid is very glossy (finger print magnet) and might be prone to scratches. So I figured I shall go and buy a skin for it to protect but when I recalled that I will loose all that "bad assnes" from the light being covered up, I stumbled upon Invisible shield witch is a "invisible" skin, so I purchased the G50/G60 skin knowing that they are at the same dimensions. My question now to the community, has anyone tried putting a invisible shield skin on this type of laptop and since I do have to apply solution will it get into any of the gaps(like the ones around the lights, top the lid).

ps: The invisible shield will stop it from being a finger print magnet!!!!!!!!!

    -Thanks in advance

I bought the model "Asus G50V (Top)" for my G51J-A1 and it was fitting perfectly. I applied the solution lightly and took my time to be sure of not leaving any air bubbles under the skin. Easy cleaning and very good protection against scratches.
