Whatever ASUS Taiwan sends to N.A. is what EVERY dealer will have in North America. The specs will all be the same, there is no changes. The only way a different configured unit will get here is if, either ASUS Taiwan sends something else, or a dealer imports a foreign unit.

The Canadian one will also be WXGA.

For UK, you have to inquire and look for places yourselves, email them, etc., don't expect to be spoonfed information.

Yeap, the only difference will probrably be the A/C adapter, which can be easily replaced with a standard N.A. one.

Besides that.....the keyboard is a tad different, I think.

Nothing important if you don't care about the $ sign.

Windows can be configured for any Country, language and region. Just go into the Control Panel and Click on Regional and Language settings to set it they way you need it.

Any other programs you install will be your own, so the country of origin doesn't matter. The Chinese make the laptops for all over the world, and Microsoft makes the OS for a worldwide market as well.

you'll probably want to check with them. their specifications list looks quite tacky.
that's the spec for a WXGA panel, not WSXGA... which is what you are looking for. even though it says WSXGA...
