    i just bought a zip-linq retractable power cable, is it alright to use with my Z63a?

    UV listed 110V-220V, 10A

    there should be a little sticker on the brick that tell you the power specs (both in and out). if they match up, then there shouldn't be a problem with using it.

    BTW, where'd you get that? I just had a ziplinq firewire cable die on me :(

    grabbed it when i walked past a display at fry's when i was in to get a hd for dad's notebook. ive also seen them on tigerdirect, but theyre pretty proud of their shipping. picked up a rj45 one too. was looking for rj11, but they didnt have any

    Those cables are nice for traveling, but I think 80% of people who have them have had at least one set of wires die on them. They're thin and small.... like I said, great for traveling, but not great for long use.

    hrm, crap

    i wanted them for portability. want to have my notebook with me at most times and was trying to save space.

    oh well, i guess ill return it. i dont want to need it and have it crap out on me and i dont guess it saves that much room

    All I'm saying is atleast have a backup... maybe not to take with you on vacations.... but chances are one day it's going to die and you're not going to want to wait weeks for another one. I usually keep something like that in my car or in my suitcase.. just in case.

    so will this work with my W3V? I kinda want to buy a really small AC adapter where i dont have to be burdened with cords. Samsung makes this nice AC adapter for their notebooks where the cable wraps around the AC adapter.
