    hi there ppls ive just come across a custom build a8jm, and wanted to ask you guys if this was a good deal, and whether you have seen any prices better than this in australia?? ive capitalized the custom specs:

    asus A8j
    PROCESSOR UPGRADED 2.0 GHZ CORE DUO 2500
    1 gig ram (2 x 512mb)
    HARDDRIVE UPGRADED 120 GB 5400rpm
    nVidea Geforce 7600 512mb (anti-graininess!!!)

    everything else the same

    price is $2450 AUD

    do you reckons this is a good deal?? seen this for a better price anywhere else in australia??

    What do you mean by anti-graininess? I have a A8JM with the graininess problem and it has a Nvidia Geforce Go 7600 512Mb. Is there a fix?

    hmmm really?? **** thats a first... though nvidia didnt have this crap.... well, i spoke to the asus reps and surprise they have no idea what im talking about... so ya, maybe wait till a new driver, but atm, i dont know of any fix...
