So I was just going along playing Fallout 3, when I noticed this crap going on. Also, I get those little specks you see in each bright dot on my Desktop, though they don't show up in a SS. It happens in just about all my games, BC2, WoW, CS:S. Do I need to send in my laptop and wait 4 months or is this a software issue? Thanks in advance, this laptop is only 6 months old. G51vx x1a.

Also, it happens in every game, though the glitch is a bit different, in BC2, I get these crazy blue psychadelic patterns happening, in CS:S, i get sort of the same thing as in the pic, and in WoW, i just get green specks everywhere. Even as I type this they are littering my screen.

I tried probably about 5 different drivers, used driversweeper, the whole 9 yards. Didn't help.

Are you overclocking? Maybe turn the clocks down or try new drivers.

Nope, running Asus clocks and I tried 5 different drivers. Only thing I didn't do was a OS re-install.

OS re-install doesn't help at all. I had this problem too. Did you overclock this GPU?
if you still have warranty you should RMA it, if not...
    good luck
you should definitely have warranty since it's only 6months old. Where did you buy the laptop from?

Nah I didn't overclock at all. Though my temps do hit about 99 on average on most all games. It IS under warranty, but I'm living abroad atm in New Zealand, and I'm not so sure it'd be a speedy RMA process. I'm coming back to the states in a few months so I'll do it then. I bought it from newegg, and its definitely under warranty, haven't popped off the sticker or anything

Those temps seem too high for average. RMA it and make sure all the vents are cleared on the pc.

If that's average then it means max temp is over 100? You should buy a cooler when you get a replacement.
    Actually? Buy one now. lol

Yeah bro its actually under a Zalman NC-2000. At all times. I think it may be dust, but I spent $25 on a can of air but it doesn't seem to have enough "umph" to it. As in I don't see dust or anything when I took off the cover and was blowing from the fan blades out towards the heatsink. When I first got the laptop, it used to max out at 89, then slowly crept up. It does go over 100 occasionally, but usually the max after I'm done with my session in whatever game is 98-99. I'm not sure what the average temperature is though. Probably around 94 or so when the fans are kickin on. It sucks I know, I'll probably just sell it after the RMA and shoot for a g73.
