    on its way from newegg, and i've i have a couple of ? on how i should go about things after i rip it out of the box. can i pull out the jumper on the drives before i turn it on for the first time? and will recovering the vista in just one drive i mean only having 1 potion have any benefit other then a little space?

    Yeah you can take the jumpers off if you think you need too. I was still waiting for more A2 owners to confirm they had a problem with the stock jumpers and that moving/removing them fixed the issue.

    Taking off the panel is easy, just unscrew all the screws and pry it off gently the tabs on the front most part go under a lip so the lid gets tilted up like 30 degrees and slides out from there, and be very carefull when putting the lid back on that all those anchors are in place or its a pain to put the lid back on.

    I make it sound hard maybe but its easy.

    Also as for partitions I think the stock setup is 4 partitions actually, I would not go thru a whole OS recovery for the sake of partitions. Find a partition management software and just edit them.

    Partition Magic works, and Vista built in drive management tools can also do a lot.

    A2 has bluray, 200 x 2 7200 =400gb HDD
    A1 no bluray 250 x 2 5400 = 500gb HDD
    everything else the same
