    AVG Free for Anti Virus
Ad-Aware for a deep clean anti spyware
Spybot Search and Destroy for a quick spyware cleaning.

You can easily google these and find them and download them,

Those are the exact three I would suggest using. Alternatives include Microsoft's anti-spyware plus Clam AV.

I actually recomend using pccillin housecall.

I dont even like avg I dont believe in using virus protectors. I think they are worse than viruses.

If you are in the habit of running a lot of unknown exe files then you have to have them i guess.

Thats what I always thought.. until the (I think it was) MyDoom virus, that just blasted you through your network connection.. no exe files needed. Just BEING ON THE NETWORK got you screwed. in theory a firewall helps this, but who the hell can be assured of anything anymore.

    Thank you Microsoft!!!

I'm using Symantec Antivirus (no longer supported but the last free version is still able to update itself), and Sygate Personal Firewall.

I'm not using antispyware, I guess I'm waiting until some spyware hits me before I take measures :)
