MilestonePC.com Company Representative
AVG Free for Anti Virus
Ad-Aware for a deep clean anti spyware
Spybot Search and Destroy for a quick spyware cleaning.
You can easily google these and find them and download them, -

I actually recomend using pccillin housecall.
I dont even like avg I dont believe in using virus protectors. I think they are worse than viruses.
If you are in the habit of running a lot of unknown exe files then you have to have them i guess. -
Thats what I always thought.. until the (I think it was) MyDoom virus, that just blasted you through your network connection.. no exe files needed. Just BEING ON THE NETWORK got you screwed. in theory a firewall helps this, but who the hell can be assured of anything anymore.
Thank you Microsoft!!! -
So, Ad-Aware is really good a program for spy ware...thanks. I did not know that. It's about time I get one.

Avast! antivirus is also a good free AV program if you don't like AVG.
-
Is AVG still free?

AVG free edition
Sygate firewall
ad-aware SE
opera
have the firewall to block explorer.exe and iexplorer.exe to access the network
and delete all those IE shortcut
then you are save -
Antivir + ZoneAlarm has worked great for me.
-
Yeah they came out with a new free version.
-
comodo also has a free anti virus out now, ive been using it personally and have been happy with it. based off how well their firewall works, im willing to give it a go

I'm using Symantec Antivirus (no longer supported but the last free version is still able to update itself), and Sygate Personal Firewall.
I'm not using antispyware, I guess I'm waiting until some spyware hits me before I take measures -
I use AntiVir. It is a nice free antivirus. My router has a firewall, i use only the windows firewall on my 'puter
just uninstalled norton...
