Well Im planning on buying this laptop, but so far not so much information ive read, but apparently its really hard to upgrade the ram on these laptops.

Ive read that the RAM 4gb is solded into the board and the extra slot has 4gb, so theorically you can either have 4, 8, 12 ram. So you cant use the combowombo (cant recall the name, dual channel perhaps?) in which 2 of the same ram, (ex: 2x8gb) work better (was hoping to get 2x8gb for work) but oh well...

Another thing, the laptop has a slot for extra HHD, but some are a little big, anyone knows the dimesions to look up for an extra HHD so I can ship it all in one package (much cheaper and less hassle where I live).

    Thanks.

You might want to check the RAM if you don't have 8GB soldered already and the RAM slot could be empty and then you can add a 8GB stick. The SSD is a M.2 form factor and from a photo that I looked it looks to be the 2280 size.

To check the RAM you can use HWINFO.
