    keyboard and mousepad not working - g1s

    after i got it all formatted, i wanted to install webroot spyware. then once it got extracted it came to that blue screen sayin there was an error or something and i had to do an improper shutdown (btw, it listed like start in safe mode, or normal, etc. i chose normal) and now at the sign in my keyboard isnt working and my mousepad isnt but the mouse only works if have my actual mouse plugged in. wuts wrong????

    Might as well reformat again. Hard to say what exactly is wrong. Next time though, instead of installing spyware, install SpySweeper.

    have you installed all the newest drivers for the touchpad?
    I know it's a stupid question but did you leave Numlock on?

    no i didnt. now an asus tech recommend i reformatt with F9 and choose windows in the first partiton option. but i JSUT went through this WHOLE process for 1.5 hrs!!!! i was pissed. should i do that??? cuz if its something simple idk then

    The F9 option only takes less than half an hour (much faster than the DVDs).

    You should try it.
