    Hi everybody

    I want to ask a question ..
Is there is a problem in all laptop plz
    I buy a Asus A6R laptop
after one month i buy another one is Acer
and see HP with my friend

and what i see at all is that

when i'm on chat on any messenger: yahoo, paltalk, msn

    the sound is very low
and any bad PC has a better sound
    and this with headphone only

if I connect a sound system the sound is normal

    why is that?

and is there is a program to boost the sound output??

    thank you all

Try right clicking on the volume icon on your tool bar - that should open the Master Volume Control with a bunch of volume sliders - is there one that is very low? That may be the culprit.

Also make sure the headphones are plugged in all the way...

It's almost certainly a setting though - you'd get no sound if there was a hardware problem I believe.

well, you have to understand that pretty much all laptop speakers are pretty crappy. that's why you can hear fine with earphones or plugging in other speakers, but not when you are using your notebook speakers.

If it is with your headphones only, and

    1. Your headphones are plugged in all the way,
    2. Your speakers work great plugged into the same jack

then the problem is probably your headphones. Either they have a volume control that needs to be turned up, or they are faulty or just inferior headphones.

If your speakers work then your computer output jack is doing its job.
