    Hi,

I have this Asus N76VB laptop for quite a long time now. The problem is that my laptop wont turn on without the AC adapter. I have this problem for a long time now but i didnt bother to fix it. When i hover over my mouse on the battery icon with an X in the right bottom it says: No battery is detected. and it doesn't give any information of the battery https://prnt.sc/nfvddj. When i press on the battery icon, it says: 100% fully charged. I also cant take the removal battery out because it seems to be stuck. If anyone could help me with this problem that would be very helpful since my laptop randomly shuts off while playing some games.

    Thanks

Sounds like the battery is either done or disconnected, and it could have something to do with it sticking. You should just be able to slide the switch over to the other side and be able to lift the Battery up to take out. Does the switch stick or does the battery have trouble lifting out of the base?

I try to slide the switch but the bottom doesn't fully come out. Probably because it hasn't came out for so long now its stick. Few months ago i also broke the switch but i need to use something small to fit in and switch it.

Sometimes you might be able to wiggle the switch and it might be able to loosen it. Instead of sliding just horizontally, see if sliding it over and up or over and down will be able to catch it so that it will lift.
