I would go for the second one A45VM-VX113V as this looks like the newer model because it comes equipped with the 3rd gen Ivy Bridge. Newer always means most up to date technology included.
-
Okay thanks for you cl-jeffrey to take the initiative to response to my post out of the hundred viewers my post had.
but the guy at the shop told me that the difference between 3rd and 2nd generation is the speed and the cooling (latest better)
but when you look into these two pieces you find that the CPU speed for each is the same...So, then it's only the cooling that holds the difference which I feel is not that big matter “Am I right?"
one thing I didn't like it in the U36SG-RX072V is that it does not come with and optical drive!!!!!
one more thing is I live in Malaysia and I brought the details from Asus Singapore website "coz I did not find it in Malaysia website" dose this mean that the same model here in Malaysia will have different sepcs. -
You should not have different specs as this model is by country region. The temperature is lower so the battery life will have a slight increase compared to the 2nd gen processor. I will ask another ASUS region if Malaysia sells this laptop A45VM-VX113V

well actualley the guy at the shop gave me the "ASUS PRODUCT GUIDE JULY-AUGUST 2012" and said those laptops in the book which he doesn't have a stock he can order for me from his main branch.
this is my first Asus laptop I want to try it and I need to enjoy my first experince
I thank you for you co-operation man -
No problem if you have any problems you can email me at @asus.com. Have a great weekend.
-
will need your assistance from time to time no worries
thanks -
BTW mr. cl-jeffrey since you are the compnay representative "as in your profile"
I want to ask you about the model A45VM-VX113V it's there in the ASUS PRODUCT GUIDE JULY-AUGUST 2012 but I could not find it online-at the Asus website-neither in Asus Malaysia nor at some other sites. So what does this mean? and one of Asus authorized seller here in Malaysia said this model is not yet arrived to Malaysia.....but the weird thing is that I did not find it online?
coz I like this model it has good sepcs. and I like the price
I hope I'm not bothering you with my questions but I need to get the laptop for my study
thanks dude for you help -

What ever you do DONT buy he Asus U36SG. They are a great laptop but the screens on them are DISGUSTING. I just bought one yesterday and i hate it, the screen that is. Specs, size etc are great but the screen gives you a negative effect when you dont have it at the right angle. When the screen is white you have to move it to one angle then when there are dark or black images you have to move it to a different angle. Drives you insane and hurts your eyes.
I will be contacting ASUS on Monday to see if i can return mine. -
I see....well my plan is the A55VM-SX037V I'll buy it from Malaysia
but I don't know how good is this model as is my first time to buy a laptop and also this model I didn't meet users of Asus only of friend told me last time that they delayed him tooo much at the service center
any way I'm like 90% made my mind to take this adventure to try the Asus whish I think-hope- it will not let me down
looking for an advice about Asus U36SG-RX072V and A45VM-VX113V
