I had the same problem trying find info to get the Keyboard off of my Z9. I finally had to go into the shop and they showed me how to do it.

I'm going to guess that it might be a similar process. For the Z9, there are 2 screws in the bottom marked "K" that have to be removed, then pry out the panel with the powerbutton starting nearest the keyboard. Then the keyboard comes right out.

    Good luck.

There are links for the upgrade manuals for the Z9 and M2N in the sticky "ASUS upgrade manuals"
These will show you how to remove the keyboard !

i just want to reposition my keyboard, because..i dont know..it was a time a friend of mine accidently poored some icetea over my baby, it wasn't a great problem, but now my keyboard sometimes shows up mechanical failure..spacebar doesnt work like it did before, i have to press it hard (but gently) and some other keys do not work properly..hard to press. so i wanted to take out the keyboard and reposition it..i would go to shop or call asus, but i'm in china right now, and there is only in beijing an office..so i have to do it by myself..and cant find how to..in the sticki "..upgrade manuals.." is no manual for m2n, or may be i'm got blind cause of the chinese food :)
so, thank you for quick answers, i'll open it now with something sharp..joke..fe_che

    Hi,
I know this one is a very late reply, but I also have a M2400N, and a couple of months ago, I completely disassembled my notebook. I hope it helps...

Here is how you can plug off your keyboard:
-First of all, you need to remove the panel with power and the atk hotkey buttons. You can do this by putting a screwdriver or a similar thing to the little cave on the bottom right side of the panel. After putting it, try to lift the panel a bit, later shift the panel to the right.

-After removing the panel, take off the screws of the keyboard, and its film from the notebook's mainboard.

-and finally remove the keyboard, bingo!
