i have an m5n and from what i can see it uses uSODIMM memory.. is this the same as microdimm that sony uses? i don't know for sure..

newegg has some microdimm 172 pin memory, i think it is what i need, but i would like some other opinions.

Can you use CPU-Z to identify your current memory module ?

I think the micro-sodimm are not the same. Both require a special mounting screw. Sony and Asus use the same technology but not the same shape.

There are 4 form factors AFAIK for SO-DIMM, and that's if Sony is not using a custom one.

it uses a screw to hold it in?

the current memory module is built into the motherboard.. it just shows up as ddr 2700..

i see at the bottom that there are past posts concerning this.. i will see if they help me at all.
