The best is relative depending on your needs and budget. Can you give guidance on those two issues?

All Intel on-board graphics are crap for 3D gaming, if they able to run any 3D games in the first place. You probably want to look into 9100IGP or better 9600Pro equipped notebooks, which are generally more bulky and low battery time. Look into notebooks like Asus L5GA.

While the intel graphics are crap, they do run 3D games. For eg I have used my asus M2N to play COD and BF1942 and BF vietnam. I have to run these at no more than 800X600 on med-low quality settings but they do run and for a bit of gaming on the road this chip is more than adaquate. As for price I'm not sure where in the world you are so I can't help you to much there except to say that the ASUS website in your particular part of the world should list some suppliers in your area.I also suspect that the prices of the two asus models will be cheaper than the toshi.
My personal choice would be the M5n, as it has the internal optical drive which I prefer to have rather than an external one.

My r100 has a Trident chip with dedicated ram. I was just playing Star Trek DS9: The Fallen on Battery @ 10*7 med/high settings and it was pretty smooth. The hard drive is what makes games kind of slow. It takes forever to get started and the game stutters as sounds are loaded.

The X31 has a M6 chip which is better than that in mine - and way better than Intel Extreme Graphics.

The current Centrino Sony VAIO has a RADEON 9200 - which is quite acceptable for most games short of Far Cry. But for Quake III engined games like Call of Duty is should be fine.

My Compaq 2811 had a P4M 1.6 and RADEON 7500 and it played CoD at full detail and 10*7.
