I was wondering, if I had a m6n with a banias processor, is it possible for me to swap the cpu to a dothan with no problems? Also, would I need to upgrade the BIOS if I were to stick in a dothan processor?

Yep should be no problem to upgrade as the M6N is dothan ready according to the spec sheet, but I would strongly recommend checking with ASUS before you go ahead, as changing the cpu yourself will proably void your warrenty. There are some recent bios updates for the M6, although no info on what they do, so I cant help ya with that problem, again best to contact ASUS about this.
    Good luck
