Thats pretty high but not unheard of for some G51s.

Under what situation did it reach those temps? Does it continually occur?

And when did you get your G51? 101C is about where the first batch of G51s hit. I know my first one did, and I got it about a month and a half before they went on sale.

Rezigrene was referring to the first batch of RX05s which were sold around the beginning of July.

Anyways, those temps are too high. What temps are you getting after just one run of 3DMark06 with overclocked GPU? Stock GPU?

What are the first two numbers in your G51 S/N? It should be a 95.... or 96.... or even 97

The first number in the S/N stands for the Year the laptop was manufactured the second number represents the Month.

So an S/N = 96......would mean your laptop was built in June (6th month) 2009.

I know that the X1A model started shipping with July build dates S/N 97....
