    your asus notbook was made in taiwan?
    or chinese mainland?

    ASUS is a Taiwan-based company, though according to Wikipedia they have manufacturing plants in both Taiwan and mainland China. Notebooks could probably come from either area.

    Indeed, not only that, a high percentage, about 70+% of all laptops are made in Taiwan.

    Compal, ASUS, MSI, Quanta, etc. are all large Taiwanese companies.

    Acer is taiwanese company too.
    there are so many digital capanies in taiwan.
    I like asus.
    But i dont like acer .

    unfortunately much of the general public in the US makes that mistake in thinking asus = acer bleh
