if i boot up within range of my wireless access point, it will boot fine, but if i boot elsewhere, without a wireless ap or one not in my profile, my boot up will halt at the desktop background

if i have to put it it sleep and wake it up to finish the boot

    it's quite annoying..

i first thought it was something to do with my startup apps, but now i suspect it's the wireless doing something

you can see the wireless led and hdd access led flash alternately, and the time between each flash increases until nothing happens at all (hang)

i'm getting the new wireless driver (9.0.2.1), hopefully that will fix it

just posting to see if anyone else has had this problem?

To confirm this is the issue, try disabling wireless and booting.
