    Hey guys,

I am a glad owner of the W7J. I had issues of it cutting off just after starting windows and stuff. So I did a complete recovery CD thing, which it fixed the issue.

Now I have a problem with my wireless connection. At first it kept dropping off connection while using the Intel Pro Wireless driver and app. So I uninstalled that and just install the driver. By using windows for the wireless app to connect it works ok. BUT>>>>> it keeps dropping off connection but after longer time compared to with Intel Pro crap.

Anybody has any ideas? I checked the router and stuff, things are fine. I am like sitting laptop next to the router so you can rule out signal interference.

    thanks,

I also sometimes have this problem, and I am sitting right beside my router too. Here's what I do, first before doing another method. Restart the laptop, turn off the Wifi, restart the laptop, turn on the wifi and then see whether or not your wifi stays connected properly.

Alos you may want to power cycle the modem and router, and also restart the laptop aswell. This means you remove the plug from the modem and router, and then plug them back in, then restart the laptop.

Let us know if that makes any difference.

I did power recycle the router and modem and all. Even my other laptop gets steady signal. but my W7J keeps connecting disconnecting.... If there is not new driver or patch for it, then I may not be able to use this for office work then.

You can also take a stab at updating your intel pro wireless drivers too. ANd like always, your router's firmware.
