for my ASUS M50vm-A1 my brightness thingy doesnt work anymore..

like when i go and use the hotkey to adjust the brightness it does not go from bright to dark...instead it is stayed on the highest brightness level.

this happened when i installed linux but its really no biggy but i was wondering if there was any advice to this.

another note: the thing will only go from the lowest slot to the middle slot will not go all the way to the end just for your FYI. anywayz i know its on the brightest because well its bright.

The problem appears in Windows right? If yes:

    a) Disable light sensor (Fn+A)
    b) Uninstall and reinstall ATK drivers and utilities (all the stuff beginning with ATK)
