It sure looks like the GPU is about to die.

It's most likely a failing GPU. Double check to see if your inverter cable is properly seated before sending it in for repairs :)

oh and how picky is asus with the little yellow warranty sticker??
i opened up my laptop once to clean it out and got a little over zealous with the compressed air and it blew off and then i lost it...

Well the sticker may or may not be an issue. Depends if it was the do note remove this or void warranty sticker... If it was you better just con them into thinking it myst have came off one time while on your lap or something, or just say it never had...

As for your issue, does it only do this in windows or when posting also? You can try an external monitor to make sure its not the screen going nuts, but its doubtfull it is.

it only happens when i play games

but one time when i started it up, the system booted up fine but the screen was black so i had to find my way through the dark to shut it down lol but that was only once and its never happened since

If it does this during games than could be a bad card yes... It would be a heat/stress thing...

If you got something installed to monitor your temps you can get a better idea, but its really pointless. At this point its RMA time...
