    Hello All,

I re-formatted my new W7s with Windows XP, to try and get rid of all the bloat of Vista and the pre-loaded software, and to try and control heat problems.

I also installed Notebook Hardware Control, and it appears as though my CPU speed is locked at 2.2 ghz, which means my computer is running burning hot, and the CPU speed doesn't adjust automatically. How do I fix this problem? Am I missing some critical Asus drivers?

Please help! This is absolutely unbearable.

    Thanks,
    S

NHC is not fully compatable with Santa Rosa CPUs. As long as you have the setting to Dynamic Switching then your CPU should be changing multipliers as per normal. Download CPU-z to double check.
