    Hi.
I've always been a bit reserved when it comes to driver updates, because from my last experience, I accidentally installed the wrong driver and it screwed my PC up.
Anyways,I believe from the nVidia site, I found out that the current graphics driver I have is 101.19 (I have an nVida Geforce 8400m G).
This is the latest driver update from Asus:

    Version 169.25 2008/01/02 update
    Description nv16925_Vista32.zip

ASUS VGA card display driver version 169.25 for Windows Vista 32-bit Edition

    File Size 32.33 (MBytes)

Can anyone please go to the Asus download (link provided) and confirm that that is the right driver update?

    Thank you!

For nVidia, use the modded drivers from laptopvideo2go. Make sure to use the modded inf otherwise the drivers won't recognize your mobile GPU.

OP...it would help if you supplied what model notebook you have.

Fwiw...I tried the 174.74 (via tweakforce.com) version in my F8sn as the game FEAR was acting up now & then with freezing , then trying to restart but ending up with blank screen. The version installed ok but FEAR was still acting up just in different ways. I ended up going back to stock video driver.

FEAR still freezes now & then , I get an "out of memory" msg , so I don't know what's up with that.
