to the display control panel.

Nice submission! Thanks.
-
hey...if anybody reads this...i would like to know what forceware i should get for my laptop...i have a toshiba satellite m40 x with geforce go 6600 and it already has forceware 71.70 i need to upgrade it and i downloaded 78.70 and 81.01 or something but it says that you do not have a current version that can be upgraded .
-
Uninstall your old drivers, reboot, and then install the latest drivers off the nVIDIA website - 91.47 for the Go 6600.
-
-
I don't usually recommend beta or Omega drivers, just out of habit.. Less problems to answer for that way
-
Do these drivers support powersaving features of the stock (OEM) drivers?
-
Based on a quick Google and this thread, it seems that nV doesn't release unified drivers for their laptop parts. It is up to the manufacturer to update and release the drivers, with resources provided by nV..... Stupid, since manufacturers rarely update drives.
A group of people over at http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/ have edited the INFs in the default nV drivers to enable the support for laptop GPUs. -
Thanks. I know that, but I'm wondering if these will still support the power saving features.
