I went through a similar "bag selection" process a couple of weeks ago for my W3V and went with a TOM BIHN bag ( www.tombihn.com). They are very solidly made here in the US, with great quality and customer service. I chose the ID bag (messenger-type with a good handle) with a size 4 Brain Cell laptop insert. Apart from great styling, it doesn't scream *laptop bag* and thus might not attract computer thieves.
Another cool bag style is Crumpler ( www.crumplerbags.com) and although the styling wasn't quite to my tastes, at least visit the website - it is a scream! I hope that helps. Doug -
I relaly like Crumpler bags, and Tom's look and from what I've heard are great as well. The only reason I got mine was the price and the availiablity but check all of them out. -
I just purchased a Crumpler Considerable Embarrassment computer bag today; they have strange names for their bags. I was going to get the Very Busy Man but I don't normally carry that much stuff around each day. They look like they're pretty well made and I like the fact that they don't look like computer bags.

i always thought a stainless steel case from zero halliburton would be sweet for my laptop...

I realize this topic is a couple of weeks old, but I was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations for bags that work well with the Z63a (or W3v, for that matter). The bag that came with my Z63 was perfect for airline travel, but it isn't really big enough to hold a textbook and a notebook or two in addition to the laptop and power adapter. I'm looking for a shoulder bag (not a backpack), and would prefer something that doesn't scream "laptop inside". Oh, and something reasonably priced would be nice, as well
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Is it better to look for a bag that's designed to hold a laptop, or to purchase a padded sleeve and keep the laptop in a normal bag? I'd prefer something where the laptop doesn't move around much, but I would be open to buying a sleeve if someone can vouch for their quality.
