    need help UL30VT A1 screen resoultion/ video card prob

    My Ul30VT-A1 just locked up on me today. I restarted and my screen resoultion was at 800x600 and everything looked bad. I did a system restore as i thought maybe the latest windows 7 update might have screwed something up but it was the same afterwards. My screen resoultion only has 2 settings. any suggestions? all replies and advice will be appreciated as I am out of the country for next 5 weeks with no chance to take it anywhere. :(

    of forgot to say there is "SIGNON" that comes up when i restart that I never seen before
