Hey guys,
Does anybody know if it is possible to change a hdd on ASUS G Series G2S-X3?
I found a great laptop but its hdd is 4200 rpm. The price is very good, so i figured i might buy it and then change the hdd to 5400/7200 rpm one myself...
P.S. Which HDD would you recommend?

There *should* be a door you open by removing a screen under the laptop.

western digital. it runs cool and you won't hear it. it's not as fast as some drives, but it's not much slower. the fastest drives are usually the hitachis.

do you have a manual? you can probably google one also. there might be a rectangular panel underneath with 4 screws or so. it might say hdd or have a rectangular symbol. it'll probably be about 3"x5". the smaller rectangle is your ram. of course you could open up the panel/s and just find it on your own. opening up your laptop this way is not risky. it's tinkering with the insides. but make sure you're unplugged, both adapter and battery (ac/dc) and grounded before doing so. static electricity has the potential to ruin something inside.
need your advice on asus hard drive
