not a new laptop, more of a new hdd.

    edit:

"See how Seagate makes this drive so game-changing:

The technology inside is insane: it could boost system performance by up to 150%!
This device learns about its user to dynamically decrease disk time, boot time, and application load time.
Hear how this device takes an already great ASUS gaming system to another level."

can win a laptop though. prolly will have the new hdd in there since its supposedly a g73 that might be won.

    That image tells me nothing.
There have been rumors of a G53 and a updated G73 but nothing is confirmed.
G53 is supposedly 15" version of the G73, it will more than likely NOT come with a ATI HD 5870 but if there still going to stick with ATI cards I'm hoping we at least see a GDDR5 HD 5850.
Rumor also has it is that the updated G73 is switching over to Nvidia GFX cards, might we see a 480 GTX :)
Again these are all NOT confirmed but I can dream right!

lol no way the g73s they giving out will have 480s in them with the date of the event. but then again they might have good relations with nvidia

edit: yes you can dream lol :p or we rather ;)

I have a sinking feeling that the 15'' G-series won't be getting the high-end ATI cards.

well putting all the power in a 15" body is possible as seen by clevo/alienware, what i am really concerned about are if the new g series will have the same problems as the g73 and if there will be more variety of ports this time around.

I think forge's sinking feeling is that the 15" models will come equipped with almost-melting fermi cards, low end models at that. Hell the 280/360 on the g51's now are already overheating.
