asus posted new drivers 8.700 so by my simple maths it will be 10.4 (would be nice if it is 10.4a)

to find it go to asus ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
    then select, notebook/drivers/vga

well you can't direct link to 'em.

on those dropdown menus pick notebook on the first one.

then on the second one pick drivers. hit D to select it automatically if you're on the second pulldown menu.

then pick vga and go from there

Ok, finally found the drivers list (50 drivers in total). I chose the ATI ones and I post here just for information, because the are is no information neither whatsoever the drivers is about nor what is the vga which belong to. Probably your right when your said can be the 10.4, just for the releasing time, but again, asus make its drivers model-specific. Here is the list:

    Version V8.700.0.0
    Description ATI Graphics Driver
File Size 126.79 (MBytes) 2010/06/11 update

    Version V8.692.1.0
    Description ATI Graphics Driver
File Size 244.5 (MBytes) 2010/04/15 update

    Version 8.672.0.0
    Description ATI Graphics Driver
File Size 233.51 (MBytes) 2010/04/07 update

    Version V8.662.0.0
    Description ATI Graphics Driver
File Size 116.65 (MBytes) 2010/03/16 update

    Version V8.692.1.0
    Description ATI Graphics Driver
File Size 244.5 (MBytes) 2010/02/23 update

    9.12 Stock for Win7 x86
    Version V8.683.0.0
    Description Graphics Driver
File Size 199.99 (MBytes) 2010/01/25 update (Note the smaller size)

    9.12 Stock for Win7x64
    Version V8.683.0.0
    Description Graphics Driver
File Size 243.06 (MBytes) 2010/01/29 update (Note the bigger size)

At the end is included the stock ones for our G73JH as reference. I have no idea what should be the rational to discover is one of them is related to the 5870m.

    Best

The newest package is either broken or empty. It does not contain any 5870m video driver inside.
