    There's also a G60VX listed on the ASUS support pages now. It's not on the computex site so I have no idea what its specs are, I hope they give a peek at the show.

    Yup, the gaming notebooks that Asus in the future will come with illuminated keyboards :) Not sure about the Best Buy versions though as those models tend to skimp out on the good features.

    np8662 is overrated lol trust me its not nice at all plus very close to the performance of g50vt's

    Unless the new keyboard is designed around the G50/M50 KB interface which is probable but if not its likely the BB models will get the backlit keyboard. ASUS is only going to remove features which save them money not ones that would cost additional money to support like other companies.

    If Backlit keyboard changes the interface then BB models get it.
    If old G50/M50 or other produced at the same time keyboard works directly then its possible the Best buy models wont get backlit.

    I wont be replacing this for 2 to 3 years whatever i get i will probably buy from gentech or something. I figure save 20 a paycheck for 3 years thats about 1500 bucks.
