ok i deleted the recovery partition so i could do a upgrade of win 7 over top of my windows vista install and everything went good now the brightness control works.

but the problem is the mouse touch button to turn off the mouse isint working it works when you disable the mouse in the control panel but when i push the button it just blinks and does nothing every other button works tho.

so is there a fix for this or a work around?

Did you install the Synaptics touchpad driver? I read something from Asus Customer Care saying there was no other way to get it working.
