This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    All you're going to get is the notebook - no accessories (except maybe the power brick) or CDs usually included with the regular product; this is clearly spelled out in NE's documentation policy for OB items, as I recall.

    You're taking a chance..... better to spend the money and get a first-tier unit, imo.

    ClearSkies, thanks for the advice. I checked BB site. They lowered the regular price for both G50Vt-X1 and Gateway P-7805u to 1049.99. I probably will get one of these.

    cant beat the x1 at that price...even better if it goes on sale for $999 again!
