i finally ordered my g51vx-x2a today and now i just have one last question about newegg.

I placed my order and when i check my status it says that my order is in the first stage processing and my account has not been charged. But my account has been charged so i am just wondering, is this normal?

i saw a post on a different forum saying a guy got charged twice for his order, doesn't really make sense that could happen with a debit card but it got me a little nervous. So my question is does newegg not really pay attention to the order status or is something messed up?

i wouldn't worry about it unless the time comes that you are actually charged twice. If you are charged twice then its not the end of the world, simply dispute the double charge with your bank and they will contact newegg, newegg will look and see that indeed you only purchased one and it will be fixed. But i have been a customer of newegg for 5 years and i have never had an incident.

    With Newegg:

Step 1: order processing, credit card authorization being obtained
Step 2: account charged, order complete
    Step 3: shipment being prepared
    Step 4: box shipped.

You're fine, nothing to worry about.
