On my g1s, I can access the internet and email with Firefox, but outlook says 'cannot connect to incomming pop3 server. Ie7 says cannot display web page. It was fine before I uninstalled Norton. Anyone have any ideas.

For anyone interested, I had to go to nortons web site and download a removal tool. Uninstalling it from control panel dosnt work. Serves me right for installing norton. After I completely removed norton, my outlook and ie7 worked.

I removed the Norton that came with my G2s, I used the uninstall part of the program (I think) and it removed itself just fine. I then installed office 2007, and updated windows (which updated IE7). No issues, but hey Norton is Norton so I put nothing past it. What did you switch to for security? I use the free AVG and I am very happy.

Norton is the evil cousin of that other evil program/isp known as AOL ^^

as for free AV's I really like AVAST.

AVG is what we use at work and I think it sucks, even when I had to talk to tech support the other day due to a server issue, we got into a talk about how bad AVG is.
