    Hi Gorgievvv,

Check the fan’s intake/outtake and don’t think about it. Just run some application for temperature readings as HWiNFO and look at them. If you see a temperature above 80 deg C then turns off the laptop. If not take a picture with the sensors readings and posted it here.

You are talking about cooling fan and cooling pad. When you refer to a cooling fan do you mean the laptop internal fan? The cooling pad is an external cooling device with one, two or more fans. Your system should be running fine without any cooling pads and it is not dependent on them.

Could you please specify what exactly you mean – an internal laptop fan or external one as a cooling pad?

What model laptop do you have?

Well, the fan starts running when you turn on the laptop and it stops when the OS desktop is loaded. That is not a problem yet because your system is still cold. After about 5-10 min. the laptop is getting warm (CPU, GPU, chipset and the other components) and the fan will start running again with a speed according to the temperatures.

If you experienced an unusual fan behavior and the laptop is still under warranty it’s a time to use it. Call local Asus support to fix the problem.

If you are behind the warranty then you should find someone to perform the next procedure (some models required almost complete disassembling):
    1. Check the fan(s) and its cable connections, intake/outtake
    2. Check the motherboard sensors logic
    3. Check the heatsink and its proper contact with the CPU/GPU
    4. Replace the thermal compound (use IC Diamond or better)

For me it's difficult to identify the source of the issue because the provided information is not enough.
