The review of the G1S posted today (the G1S) was ordered from GenTech, and the reviewer noted their top support a handful of times. Other than that, I have no personal experiance with them.

I would recommend the Egg, but they lack the option of changing your HDD.

Edit: Also, good choice you two! I hope to order one of these this summer as well (or the monster D900C, but that is another story).

I am having problem proving that the hard drive upgrade does not void the Asus warranty. Basically, Asus will not give me a straight answer. The person I talked to probably did not know what she was talking about though.

But these are the kinds of things everyone working their should know....

    Ok, problem solved.

Just want to make it clear. The warranty will not be voided through Asus if you upgrade the RAM and Harddrive. I know many here have already told me that....but ASUS told me themselves...finally.

Tech support their is great. Got an american from Kentucky....which is good for me....since I am american.

Pay a trusted friend in the states to be able to use their cc/billing address and use your address for shipping :)

EDIT: Also they accept paypal, just get a balance and use the balance to pay, then there is no billing address..just a shipping one. At least I think so. :p
