    planning to buy new ASUS Notebook?

    Howdy guys,

    In the next few week im going to buy ASUS Notebook *again*. I have already ASUS M5N which has the noisy fan that im not comfortable with..

    ASUS recently released new series of notebook and yes i think they wont have fan problem again.

    what type would you recommend me to buy?

    If you feel really comfortable, you could buy the Z33a... which is exactly like the M5N, except updated to the newer Centrino platform.

    However, if you want something more practical, I think the Z63a would be a great choice.

    Hen your in luck. There are new fans for the m5n. Just ask any one of the resellers here for one i am pretty sure anyone here would help you out.

    Hey there,
    check out w5 series... it's great... although it is small in size but the keyboard is pretty nice (full size) and the fan is not noisy at all....

    That's true... if they are coming from an M5n and want a whole new computer, most M5 owners seem to like the W5 a lot...... but I don't think this person actually needs a new computer, just a new fan like G2P said.

    is there any fixes for M5N Notebook fan? i was just curious.. coz for a long time the only answer that i got is only check the bios thing..

    Why not trying W5A??

    The fan is quiet and the quietest among the notebooks that I've seen.

    Off the topic, I've heard it somewhere that Logitech made the keyboard for W5A. Is this true?? If yes, is it only W5A or other notebooks as well??
