    Hi Guys

    Apologies about the bold topic name but I am really really desperate, I have been struggling now for nearly 6 hours!! The problem I have is that I have been driver level OC'ing my G1S and now I fear I have corrupt my VGA Bios in an attempt to push it to its limit. My question is, can ANYONE with a G1S or G2S PLEASE send me there default .rom bios for there 8600M GT or know somewhere where I can get it. I can't use my own as it is corrupt and I need to flash it back to a working BIOS. So please anyone!

    This is how you do it;

    I will be eternally grateful,

    Thank you.

    I driver OC too, here's my back-up of the original 8600M GT BIOS (backed-up on 05/04/08 from BIOS v300).

    But now I have another problem,

    I am trying to follow this guide;

    h.ttp://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=182458

    But when I load the .rom you just gave me I get this error in MMTOOL V3.12

    "Error loading ROM Image (100000h)"

    Any ideas?

    PS - Just remove the "." in http in link, it wont let me post a url unless I have 15 posts or more

    This is not about a BIOS upgrade. This is because of a corrupt BIOS that needed to be recovered.

    Nothing, its basically the same as just OC'ing at a driver level. Doing it with nTune or Riva is much safer.
